Not My Kid, Inc. and Teen Trend Magazine Attending Prom Together

By SOP newswire

Teen Trend Magazine and Not My Kid, Inc. have joined forces to present the 2007 Prom Showcase Finale at Monterra at WestWorld in Scottsdale, AZ. This fundraising event, which will feature a fashion show, musical performances and celebrity autographs, will be held on Sunday, April 1, from 1:00 - 5:00.

Not My Kid, Inc. is dedicated to facilitating improved understanding about youth behavioral health issues including suicide, drug abuse, eating disorders and depression. This organization makes a significant difference for the better in the lives of our nation's children, teenagers and families. The people working and volunteering with Not My Kid, Inc. are dedicated and devoted to educating individuals and communities about behavioral issues facing teenagers today, and believe that prevention can be achieved through education.

Teen Trend Magazine thoroughly echoes the mission of Not My Kid, Inc. This bi-monthly magazine features news, interviews, fashion, advice and articles of interest for teens aged 12 - 18. The magazine covers news in a way that makes it relevant to teens. Additionally, Teen Trend features stories about teens and their activities while in junior and high schools. The magazine also provides insight into the different extracurricular activities available to teens, both during the school year and the summer. Teen Trend is for the teen who understands the importance of becoming a well-rounded individual.

It only makes sense that these two entities come together for an event such as this. "This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship," says Teen Trend Editor-in-Chief Candice Cain. "I really hope that we are able to do this fundraising event at least once per year. I am totally looking forward to it."

Tickets can be purchased via the Teen Trend Magazine website, located at www.teentrendmagazine.com, where you are also able to make a separate donation for this cause in case you are not able to attend the event. Individual tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. For a family up to five people, a group ticket is available for $100 in advance or $125 at the door.
