TalkingWithHeroes.Com Announces Talk Show during Memorial Day Weekend

Bob Calvert, Host of the "Talking with Heroes" Program will be interviewing Veterans from Cordele, GA, which will air on the Talkingwithheroes.com talk show May 27, 2007 at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm CST.
 
Bob was in Iraq twice in the past six months bringing back interviews with Air Force, Marines, Minnesota National Guard, and Iraqis focusing on training of Iraqis, the importance of care packages, and letters from back home. Recently "Talking with Heroes" has produced Live Broadcasts from Olathe, KS, Grand Forks, ND and Woodbury, Minnesota. Those talk show programs with local military personnel and organizations who support the troops and their families will be on the "Talking with Heroes" website in the past shows/archives section the week of May 27 th.  
 
"Talking with Heroes" is not about politics. The program is about offering our military personnel an opportunity to share their mostly untold stories and helping to support our men and women while they are deployed and after they return.
 
"Talking with Heroes" also brings to the American people stories of what many Americans are doing to support our troops and their families.  

Guests for the May 27th talk show program will be:  

Ronnie A. Gainer, a Vietnam Veteran and former Tank Commander with the 1/3 Cavalry. While in Vietnam he was wounded twice, in March, and again in August of 1969, nothing too serious. Ronnie says that "from Ankhe to Cuchi the 2/12 CAV did battle with the VietCong (VC) every step of the way. When it was time to leave Vietnam, I was stationed at Ft Hood, Texas where I became a Tank Commander with the 1/3 Cavalry."
 
Sgt Wendell L. Breedlove enlisted in the U. S. Army March 1968 at Fort McPherson, Ga. He "took basic at Fort Benning and radio operator school at Fort Jackson, S.C. and Fort Gordon, Ga.  I came home on leave for 22 days and then took my first ever plane ride to Vietnam, where I served from November 1968 and served until November 1969 with the 101st Aviation Group of 101st Airborne Division."  Wendell is active in Cordele, GA with the VFW and he will be talking on the air with "Talking with Heroes" during a Flag Ceremony that will be taking place in Cordele.
 
Joe Pakula now with Joson Contracting Corp. in Cordele, Ga. served in the Marine Corps and did one tour in Viet Nam. Joe says, "Since then I have had the pleasure of being married to a wonderful women for twenty five years. She gave me three sons that I'm extremely proud of. We have had the opportunity to support many military organizations through donations. Actually, there are more worthy charities then space permits. I am eternally grateful for being born in this country and having the opportunity to support and defend it."
