Go Now - Episode 11

Go Now - Episode 11

By Garrett Godwin

It is time to Go Now

Hello, this is Garrett Godwin, and welcome to Go Now, the show where I give the latest on the addictive world that we all know and love so much as the world of entertainment.

From TV Guide.com:

Well, it looks like Dan Vassar’s journey may be over than we expected, when NBC will not give Journeyman a full-season pickup.  Quantum Leap with a complicated love triangle, the series finds reporter Dan Vassar (Kevin McKidd), as he travels through time to try change the lives of the people he’s there to help.

Despite a lead-in with freshman hit Chuck and sophomore Heroes, viewers couldn’t make time with Journeyman against Monday’s #1 show, CSI: Miami at 10pm.  The show will complete its 13-episode order before the Writers’ Strike.

However, like Quantum Leap, fans rally together to let Dan Vassar continue being the Journeyman of Time, showering NBC with Rice-A-Roni (“The San Francisco Treat”), and if you want to show your support, then go online at http://SaveJourneyman.net and http://SaveJourneyman.funurl.com.

Catch Journeyman online at www.nbc.com/Journeyman or http://tv.yahoo.com.

From People.com:

Onscreen, her character, Sue Storm, is in love with Reed Richards, but in real life, Jessica Alba and boyfriend Cash Warren are expecting their first child.  The couple met in 2004 during shooting of The Fantastic Four, where Warren was a director’s assistant, and has been on and off since.

Alba has recently starred in Awake, and will be seen in The Eye and The Love Guru.

According to her representative, Brad Cafarelli, the baby is expected to be due somewhere between late next spring and early summer 2008.

From SoapCentral.com:

Canceled once by NBC, and canceled again by DirecTV, as Passions will not renew by the cable network for another year.  From the wacky mind of James Reilly (Days of Our Lives), the series followed the residents of Harmony, where there’s witchcraft, mischief, star-crossed romance and triangle, craziness, and much more.

Passions debuted on NBC in 1999 and was cancelled last year, but thanks to fans, the show found a new home on DirecTV.  While it is their highest-rated series, one fan states that the cancellation of the cult soap fave was that the cable network “wanted to increase their subscriber base”.

The cast and crew of Passions will return to tape the final episodes after the holidays, with the final episode aired in the beginning of next spring 2008, as new episodes will air throughout the summer.

Fill your life with Passions Monday thru Thursdays at 2pm, with a marathon of the week’s episodes Saturday at 10am on DirecTV.

From ABC Soaps In Depth:

There is a killer on the loose, as a mob war heats up as well as romance -- and those are the beginning for what’s happening in Port Charles on General Hospital for 2008.

For instance, Robin continues her desire to be a mother, as she and Patrick (Scrubs) starts to find their way back to each other.  Meanwhile, Jason & Elizabeth secretly began a relationship – but will Lucky find out?  And will Jake’s true paternity finally be revealed to the town of PC?  So, get ready for a dangerous Liason.
