By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Born in 1928, Robert Crosby spent his childhood in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area. Impacted by the early T-Group process spawned by Kurt Lewin, the outdoor education movement of L.B. Sharp, and the world of mysticism inspired by being in the presence of Howard Thurman, he integrated these into his work.

The author has had several careers. He was ordained in the United Methodist Church in 1953 and, later, was on the national staff of that church. He holds a B.A. from Otterbein College and degrees from the United Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), Boston University School of Theology (Master of Sacred Theology) and an honorary doctorate, Doctor of Humane Letters (LHD), from Bastyr University. He founded the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) in 1969 and recently taught in a masters degree program (MS in Community Psychology " Corporate Leadership Track) at Martin University (named for Martin Luther King and St. Martin de Porres) in Indianapolis.

He and his wife Patricia reside in Seattle. They collectively have 10 children, 14 grandchildren, one god-grandchild in Ukraine, and one great-grandchild. This is his sixth book.
