Priest pleads value of human life to Michigan legislature

By Garrett Godwin

STATEN ISLAND, NY: Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm announced yesterday that she will go against the state`s partial abortion ban bill.  This led Father Frank Pavone to go to the Michigan legislature in overriding the Governor`s decision.  Pavone is the National Director of Priests for Life, America`s biggest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to stopping abortion and euthansia.

"The first purpose of  government is the protection of human life" the National Director of Priests for Life said.  "Moreover, it contradicts the responsibility the law has to preserve the proper role of the physician.  When the delivery process is used as a vehicle of killing, it is no longer clear whether a doctor is an instrument of life or death.  Michigan legislators have the opportunity to correct this mistake, and I urge them to do so."
