A press conference will be taking place Wednesday morning on the issue of same-sex marriage, address on behalf of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, which is lead by The Reverend Dr. Gerald Kieschnick, who`s in his third term as president of one of the largest denominations in America.
The purpose of the conference is to show the dedication of the LCMS to the marriage amendment issue taking place here in the nation -- including states that already have amendments on their ballots come Election Day, which is two weeks from Tuesday: Arizona, California, and Florida. There will also be a statement given on the ruling of same-sex marriage in Connecticut, which happened last week.
The conference will be at the LCMS Headquarters International Center (Room 326-327) -- starting at 11am, Central Time, followed by a press telephone conference call at 1pm.
