The Power of Prayer and the Gospel

The Power of Prayer and the Gospel

By Joey Liam

Various churches exist and operate around the world, pretending to oblige to the great commission of the Lord--that is to "teach every nation all His commandments, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost" (Mat. 22:18).

Proclaiming different tenets and doctrines, these churches alienate innocent minds from the truth of the gospel. They teach their members polluted lessons; lessons that destroy humanity rather than save souls. Pity belongs to those who have been misguided and blinded by these beguilers; but prayers offer more relief.

Prayer is a very powerful tool to ease the sufferings of people who are enthralled by the power of darkness and predominance of sin; but equally important is the preaching of the pure gospel of salvation. When these two great components combine, they become an irrefutable source of enlightenment and absolution--a sure ticket to God`s heavenly kingdom, if obtained and followed without reservation.
