Kuko Alamala, is of Puerto Rican descent and was born and raised in the city of Newark, NJ. Kuko is passionate about writing, and singing. Around the age of 13 he realized he had a talent for writing poems, and converting them into songs. He was quickly discouraged by his best friend at the time, when he said "What are you doing, you sound weird". But as fate would have it, while on a group trip to the Dominican Republic, He would sing (After a few Drinks) "Senora" by Tito Rojas in front of several woman, to his amazement they loved it, inspiring him to continue trying to achieve his dream of becoming an Artist.

In October of 2002, while visiting a relative in the hospital Kuko & Masa (His original partner, who is now a full time producer/writer) started talking. Despite knowing each other for years, neither knew of each others talents until that day. Then and there, Alamala was born. After recording at several different studio, spending a lot of money, and getting no where, Kuko decided that owning his own studio would be more beneficial. Logic (despite being the hardest to learn) was what most Engineers recommended. He went out and purchased a full digital studio and many many many books and taught himself how to engineer a studio.

Kuko Alamala writes, produces, composes, and arranges most of his songs, with the exception of a few that "Masa" wrote the verses and Alamala wrote the hook and bridge. Kuko AlamalA, has a strong following in the Tri State and Miami area, and has performed along side Acts, Such as Sergio Vargas, Mario Winnans , Joe Buddons, George Lamond, Akon, Magic Juan in the US. Kuko has also performed in Cancun, PR, and Dominican Republic. His song Anniversario ", has been played on La Mega 97.9 and is on about 20 mixed CD`s. Kuko`s latest song, Donde " is flooding the mix tape market with top reggaetonon DJ`s and Donde " is on regular rotation on cable TV`s Music Choice with an audience of a million Plus and on .

Alamala`s song Bandera is being played on the nationally Syndicated show El Pique "Hosted by S Niper and V Smooth. Donde has been played on Hot 97 . Kuko Alamala has the full support of DJ Precise of La Calle NYC, and Mingo of La Mega in Miami. AlamalA has performed at several additional events including The Bayonne Latin Festival, before an audience of about 2000 people, The Red Cross Hurrican Katrina Fund Raiser held at Rascals Comedy Club in Jersey City and at The National PR Parade. Kuko Alamala has performed on several TV shows including the NEW YORKERS TV show with a very diverse National Audience and on T elemundo Primer Edicion. "People always ask about my style of music and how did it come about.

I tell them I was born and raised in Newark NJ much like NYC an extremely diverse city.Like most if not all Puerto Rican`s, I grew up Listening to Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and since it`s beginning, Reggaeton. All of these different styles have influenced me in one way or another, and that is why you hear a little bit of every thing in my music". Kuko Alamala is trying to become the equivalent of Usher but in the Spanish market. With his extreme ability to sing, dance, write, compose, produce, and engineer, his team believes it is only a matter of time before he leaves his mark on the world.
