Judyth Piazza chats with Jon Jackson Author of On Edge: Backroom Dealing, Cocktail Scheming, Triple Axels, and How Top Skaters Get Screwed

Figure skating is the most watched competition in the Winter Olympics.  Throughout the year, figure skating is the most watched sport on television after the National Football League.

But beyond the spotlight, sequined costumes, and the twirls, there is an ugly side to what appears to be a clean, wholesome sport.

Up until now no one in skating`s inner circle has dared to reveal the dirty little secrets of the seemingly pristine sport.

A former Olympic-level figure skating judge who was once the youngest American World-level Judge, has just penned an explosive expose on the sport, entitled On Edge: Backroom Dealing, Cocktail Scheming, Triple Axels, and How Top Skaters Get Screwed.

Author Jon Jackson, a judge of 20 years and a former competitive figure skater, bares the ice-cold facts of the figure skating world`s shortfalls, namely the image-making and social-climbing, the affairs, the power-hungry scheming, and the delusions of grandeur.  His charges go right up to the Olympics.

Jon`s book is like no other on figure skating, as it reveals the inner workings of a sport that has grown in popularity, but is secretly imploding.
