T. Wood Goes BEAR Hunting in Miami

By Todd Wood

SPORTS SUPERBOWL THE CHICAGO BEARS ARRIVED AT MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT YESTERDAY AT APPROXIMATELY 3:45PM.

AFTER CHECKING INTO THEIR HOTEL THE BEARS HELD THEIR FIRST PRESS CONFERENCE. COACH LOVIE SMITH WAS GLAD TO BE IN MIAMI AND IS READY TO GET TO WORK.

I ASKED BRIAN URLACKER HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS FOR TANK JOHNSON TO MAKE THIS TRIP.

MOUSAN MOHAMED HAS BEEN TO THE SUPERBOWL BEFORE AND HE KNOWS ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

THE COLTS’ LAST SUPERBOWL APPEARANCE WAS SUPERBOWL 5 WHEN THEY DEFEATED THE COWBOYS 16 TO 13 AT THE ORANGE BOWL.

THE BEARS WON SUPERBOWL 20 DEFEATING NEW ENGLAND 46 TO 10

Todd Wood's Bio

I have loved sports my entire life. Growing up in a small steel town in West Virginia there wasn’t much else to do.

I grew up watching the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 70’s and 80’s from the same seats at Three Rivers Stadium for over 12 years.

I have many relatives that I used to visit in Vero Beach and I knew the Dodgers had their training facilities in town so moving from the smoke stacks of West Virginia to the most notable spring training facility in all of baseball was a no-brainer.

I have played sports for the majority of my life and continue to play basketball, baseball, and beach volleyball every week.

I have always dreamed of interviewing the biggest names in sports, and I have been fortunate enough to do so for the past two years.

Some of the most notable athletes I have interviewed are: Pete Rose, Duke Snider, Bill Walton, Shaq, Dante Culpepper, Emmitt Smith, Milton Bradley, David Ortiz, Johnny Unitas, Jerome Bettis, Scotty Pippen, LeBron James, Zack Thomas, Tommy Lasorda, and the men’s 2004 U.S. Olympic Basketball Team.

I do enjoy interviewing the elite athletes of the professional ranks, but I also want to be able to give local high school athletes exposure as well.

Whether I’m on the sidelines at a Vero Beach Fighting Indians football game or in the locker room of the Miami Heat you can count on me to give you the most accurate information from a professional and a fan’s perspective.
