Pacquiao destroys Solis in 8th, remains as the Mexicutioner

By Joey Liam

San Antonio, TEXAS - Pacquiao`s power proved too much against the undefeated Mexican Solis in their recently concluded bout in San Antonio, Texas, labeled as "Blaze of Glory." Solis obviously had the height and reach advantage but that did not matter much to the Pacman as he brutally unleashed his wicked combinations to put Solis down for good in the eight round.

As predicted by many, Pacquiao destroyed the challenger Solis with ease. Although the Pacman suffered a nasty cut over his left eye brow due to an accidental head butt in the sixth round that only encouraged him more to launch his kamikaze attack on the game challenger.

Pacquiao told reporters, "The cut gave me the determination. I decided to quit fooling around and finish the fight."

Solis, for his part, landed a few straight rights and good counter hooks but he never really hurt Pacquiao. After the bout, Pacquiao declared his intention to fight either Barrera or Marquez on his next boxing appearance. Fans are really waiting to see these matches in the future as the two fighters mentioned by the Pacman has a score to settle with him. Regardless of who between these two elite fighters climb up on the ring to face Pacquiao in the coming months, it would surely be a slam bang affair, because when you fight Pacquiao - you must put him down or else you would get knocked out cold!
