Tiger Woods Can Forget About Congressional Honor

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A California congressman is dropping his effort to honor Tiger Woods with a Congressional Gold Medal.

Democratic Rep. Joe Baca proposed legislation in March that called for the golfer to be recognized for promoting good sportsmanship and breaking down barriers in the sport.

Baca said in a statement Wednesday that `in light of the recent developments surrounding Tiger Woods and his family,` he won`t pursue legislation this session to give him the award." Read More

"A Congressional Gold Medal is an award bestowed by the United States Congress and is, along with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. The decoration is awarded to an individual who performs an outstanding deed or act of service to the security, prosperity, and national interest of the United States. American citizenship is not a requirement." Wikipedia

Rep. Joe Baca is a jock sniffer who should be voted out of office for his ridiculous proposal. In March when the congressman proposed the legislation to honor Tiger Woods, we didn`t know that the worlds` greatest golfer was such a dirtbag. But Tiger hadn`t performed any deed or act of service to the security, prosperity or national interest of the United States.

Tiger Woods has never been a good sportsman, he often hurls his golf club when he hits a bad shot, and he curses like a sailor on the golf course. He doesn`t interact with his fellow golfers, and rarely acknowledges his fans.

Although I will admit that Tiger has broken down barriers in golf; I don`t think the sport of golf has ever seen such a philandering pig.

Rep. Baca should stop catering to athletes, and focus on serving his constituents.
