Drunk Dude Heckles Tiger Woods, Gets Tasered By Cops
"A drunken golf fan got the shock of his life Friday when cops Tasered him after he refused to stop heckling Tiger Woods on the 11th hole of The Players Championship.
Travis Parmelee, 36, of Jacksonville, Fla., was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest, officials said.
Security guards at the Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., tournament told Parmelee to stop yelling several times before calling the sheriff, who dispatched deputies to make an arrest.
Capt. Dave Messenger said officers attempted to calm Parmelee down, but he became more combative. When they tried to take Parmelee into custody, he resisted - and was Tasered once."

Last week Tiger Woods failed to make the cut at Quail Hollow by a country mile, and this week he`s nine strokes behind 36-hole leader Lee Westwood. Finally, somebody who`s conquered more holes than the playboy golfer.
Tiger Woods may one day regain dominance, but he will never regain the respect of the fans. Tiger has enough problems getting back his confidence and dealing with a faulty golf swing, the last thing he needs is a drunk heckler.
But an inebriated heckler repeatedly shouted insults at Woods, in desperation the security guards called the cops who eventually tasered him.
In just about every sport fans are aloud to ridicule the players, why should golfers be exempt from being subjected to hecklers? But hecklers shouldn`t give cops a reason to arrest them by being intoxicated.
Parmelee wasn`t tasered for verbally abusing Woods, the cops took the extreme measure because he became combative and resisted arrest.
It`s no fun being Tiger Woods these days, he can look forward to more bogeys and more hecklers.
