Milestone: 10 Billionth iTunes Download

By Robert Paul Reyes

In only seven years iTunes is celebrating the 10 billionth download. This milestone signals the end of the CD, you might as well get rid of all your CD`s and join the digital revolution.

The milestone download was "Guess Things Happen That Way" by Johnny Cash. Here`s the real surprise: The buyer was Louie Sulcer, who is 71 freakin` years old.

For his 99 cent investment Sulcer won a $10,000 prize, and none other than Steve Jobs called the old man to inform him that he was the lucky winner.

Young people have ushered in the digital revolution downloading songs by Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga, but there`s also old codgers downloading songs by Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra.

If you haven`t downloaded a song yet, you are a Luddite and an oxygen thief. Get with the program oldtimer!
