This is Garrett Godwin-- here to tell you What`s On Tonight!
At on the CW comes the two-hour, highly anticipated premiere of 90210-- where the zip code is the same, but with new characters. However, tonight`s opener does have the original premise: a Midwestern family moves to Beverly Hills, where the brother and sister enter the elite world of the rich and wealthy in their high school-- making both friends and enemies in California. But expect some familiar faces in the next generation, as both Jennie Garth and Shannon Doherty reprise their roles as Kelly Taylor (now the school guidance counselor) and Brenda Walsh (successful actress turned school musical director).
Then, at 10pm on A&E is an all-new The Cleaner, in which William (Benjamin Bratt) continues to work on his estranged relationship with his son, Ben, while helping an old friend (guest star Jeff Kober) who is helping one of his students kick his addictions to both heroin and prescription drugs.
Also at 10pm is the long-awaited return of FX`s gritty as well as down and dirty The Shield. Creator Shawn Ryan has recently stated that this will be the show`s seventh-- and final-- season with only one question: will this season be the day of reckoning for Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis)? With The Shield, anything-- and nothing-- is possible.
And at on SOAPnet is an all-new General Hospital: Night Shift, in which Robin (Kimberly McCullough) must choose between abiding by her father Robert`s (Tristan Rogers) decision and disobeying it when it comes to saving his life. Meanwhile, Saira must choose between Leo and Jagger (Antonio Sabato, Jr.).
And that`s What`s On Tonight! So, thank you for joining me. And, don`t forget to check out Judyth Piazza on her show, The American Perspective, along with Del Marbrook on Hot Copy-- right here at the SOP.
I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to Go Now again, so I`ll see you later.
