By Garrett Godwin

Hello, everyone!

This is Garrett Godwin, and I`m here to tell you What`s On Tonight!

Tonight is two hours of premiere on the CW Network, starting at 8pm with Smallville.  The series that tells the Superman mythology from the beginning picks up where last May left off -- the Fortress of Solitude comes crashing down thanks to Lex Luthor, who finally discovers the secret of former best friend Clark Kent.  Smallville starts season eight with Clark missing and powerless.  Now, it`s up Green Arrow, Aquaman, Black Canary -- the Justice League -- to find their Superfriend and bring him home.  Expect Clark getting closer to become the Man of Steel this season, as he starts working at The Daily Planet, where he`ll be sparring -- and possibly sparking -- with Lois Lane.

Then at 9pm is Supernatural, as the war between good and evil continues.  Where we last saw the Winchester brothers, Sam is heartbroken over his failure to save Dean, who`s been sent to Hell.  However, the elder sibling surprising return from Hell, but how and why will be the question as the series starts its fourth season.

And at 10pm on USA is the summer finale of Burn Notice, as blacklisted spy Michael Westen gets closer to the people that burned him.  The series will return for new episodes in January 2009.

And that`s What`s On Tonight!, so thanks for joining me.  But don`t forget to check out The American Perspective on Judyth Piazza, along with Hot Copy with Del Marbrook -- right here on the SOP.

I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to Go Now once again, so I`ll see you later.
