Soul Train -- Television`s longest-running, syndicated music program is also the hippest place to be, with guest stars on this day of September 19 in the year 1981 is the late Barry White performing "Louie, Louie" and "Beware".  He also perform with his wife Glodean with "Didn`t We Make It Happen, Baby", "I Want You", "You`re The Only One For Me", and "You".

1987 - Jody Watley performing her two Top 10 hits, "Don`t You Want Me?" and "Some Kind of Lover"; Levert with "Casanova" and "My Forever Love"
