At 9pm on CBS is the season premiere of America`s #1 show, CSI -- picking up where last May`s shocking cliffhanger left off, where Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), the rock of Gil Grissom (William Petersen)`s team, was shot by a corrupt cop.  Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) will return, as she and the entire Las Vegas Police Department are pulling out all the stops to solve this case and finish it for their friend.  Joining the

Starting its ninth season, CSI has been called "the show that changed television forever" thanks to uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer.  Joining the cast is former Mutant X and L Word alumni Lauren Lee Smith as smart and sexy Riley Adams.

However, expects this to be a season of change, as Gil Grissom will be leaving the Crime Lab again -- forever.  However, his portrayer Petersen will be staying on the series as executive producer, a position the actor has maintain since the show began in 2000.  He plans on returning to CSI for occasional guest spots.  Grissom`s swan song will be in the middle of this season, passing on the torch for Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne as the new night shift supervisor of the Vegas Crime Lab.

Then at 10pm is Bruckheimer`s next potential hit, The Eleventh Hour.  The series stars Rufus Howell as Dr. Jacob Hood, a scientist who works as an advisor for the government -- call in at The Eleventh Hour to protect the laws and interests of science against those that misuse them for their own purpose.  Marley Shelton (Sin City) co-stars as the FBI agent assigned to watch over him.

And that is What`s On Tonight!, so thanks for joining me.  But don`t forget to check out Judyth Piazza`s The American Perspective, along Hot Copy with Del Marbrook -- right here on the SOP.

I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to Go Now once again, so I`ll see you later.
