Go Now: Get into "The Spirit" this Holiday Season

By Garrett Godwin

Hello, again!

This is Garrett Godwin, and it is time to "Go Now", where I bring to you what`s happening in the addictive world that we all know and love so much as the world of entertainment:

Get into "The Spirit" this holiday season -- not just into Christmas, but also into theaters. It is also the name of the film adaptation from Frank Miller, the genius behind "Sin City" and "300". Gabriel Macht is the title character: a cop killed in the line of duty yet was reborn as The Spirit, a masked crusader protecting the streets of Central City. Samuel L. Jackson is his arch-nemesis, while Eva Mendes, Sarah Paulson, and Scarlett Johansson are the beauties. Once again, get into "The Spirit" this Christmas season.

SCIFI Channel has recently confirmed that "Sanctuary" is renewed for another season. The series stars "Stargate" alum Amanda Tapping as 157-year-old scientist Helen Magnus, as she, her protégé Will (Robin Tunne) and daughter Ashley (Emilie Ullerup) seeks to find and help "abnormals". Since making its way from the Web to the tube this fall, the series has earned tremendous buzz from both critics and fans. "Sanctuary`s two-part freshman finale starts the day after New Year`s at 10pm on SCIFI.

On the hit NBC series "Heroes", she has portrayed one character with two personalities. Now, Ali Larter takes a walk on the wild side again in the upcoming thriller "Obsessed". The actress portrays a temp worker who stalks her boss (Idris Elba) with a wife (Beyonce Knowles) and son. The trailer was premiered recently on "Entertainment Tonight"; the film comes out on April 2009.

And, that`s all the time we have here today, so thanks for joining me. But don`t forget to check out the latest right here on "Newsblaze". I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to "Go Now", so I wish you a safe and Happy Holidays, and I`ll see you in 2009!
