Ft. Pierce, Florida Man Attacked

A Ft. Pierce man was attacked by an unknown assailant Sunday evening, Ft. Pierce Police said. The incident, which occurred at 700 North A Block, is under investigation by police. The unidentified Hispanic male victim was transported to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center after suffering a seizure, initial police reports stated. The victim was later airlifted to Martin Memorial Medical Center.

Officer David Clark reported that a C.A.T. scan was performed on the victim and "appeared to have received a blow to the back of the head with a blunt object" that would be likely fatal to the victim.  Investigators closed off the crime scene and the victim was photographed at the hospital, police also said.

The incident is under investigation and Ft. Pierce detectives are looking for a suspect and any other information that can assist in solving this crime and the identity of the victim.
