The 18-month-old child in an Ohio Amber Alert has been recovered, Ft. Pierce, Fla. police said Tuesday. The suspects, Tammy and Louis Johnston, are considered armed and dangerous. No information was available surrounding their whereabouts as of press time.

On Monday evening, Middleton, Ohio police issued an Amber Alert for the missing child. Officer Darren Mace spotted the vehicle Tuesday morning and noticed some "suspicious activity" leading him to run the license plate number.

At that time, he did not find any traffic violations. Approximately 10 minutes later, Mace received a "hit" to the search identifying the tag in connection with the Amber Alert.

Two other suspects are reportedly in the vehicle, a 21-year-old woman and a 19-year-old handicapped vehicle. It was first believed all of the suspects were headed towards the Tampa region.

If you have any information about this investigation, please call Ft. Pierce Police Detective Jesse Streeter at 772-468-1805 ext. 5289 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS.
