Bomb-Laden Minibus Discovered in Ankara

By SOP newswire

In the wake of the discovery of a bomb-loaded Mercedes Vito minivan in the Turkish capital Ankara, police have set up road controls in all points entering and exiting the city.

Particular attention is being paid to all minibus and truck vehicles approaching city perimeters, with careful controls of vehicle interiors being carried out by police. Special devices are also being used by security forces to mix signals coming from cell phones and transmissions in the area around the capital's Cankaya, Kavaklidere, and Kizilay regions.
