Jim Ravannack: We Are Happy to Participate in Iran`s Wrestling Cap

Jim Ravannack: We are happy to participate in Iran`s wrestling cap
 
President of the U.S. wrestling federation is happy due to taking part in the first edition of the Emam Ali Habibi & Abdollah Movahed Free-Style Wrestling Cup in Qaemshahr, north of Iran.
 
The U.S wrestling team came third behind Iran and Russia in the two-day tournament. The American wrestlers Raymond Jordan in 84 kg class and Tervel Dlagnev in 120 kg won the silver medals. Coleman Scott in 60 kg and Trent Paulson in 74 kg claimed bronze medals as well.
 
"The sole purpose of our visit was to allow our athletes the opportunity to participate in an event against world class " competitors.  Iran has long been one of the elite programs in the entire world and we are excited about the opportunity to participate in this championship, " said Jim Ravannack.
 
Iran has a very long tradition in wrestling and a ranking power in the sport of wrestling. The United States always look forward to competition in Iran and its great hospitality, " president of the U.S. wrestling federation  added.
