Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked

TIKRIT, Iraq – Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers were killed in Baghdad Province, Tuesday when an explosion occurred near their vehicle.

Three other Soldiers were also wounded in the incident and were taken to a Coalition Forces’ medical treatment facility.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
