Judyth Piazza chats with Recording Artist - Journalist

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Journalist, a South philadelphia native, who was signed to motown in 2001 after featuring on canibus swarthmore album 2000 B.C. has resurfaced. He also featured on a host of the hottest mixtape Dj`s from Kay Slay and Clue to Doo Wop and Absolute and several more.

Journalist, now free of his Motown agreement since 2003, has been building his swarthmore release set to drop in mid 2006 under his own company titled HardRout. After his debut release "Scribes of Life" he says "I`m more focused now on where I want to be in this hustle, this so called rap game. I`ve gone back in my bag!" Journalist also featured with artist such as Mr. Cheeks, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Floetry, M.O.P. , Freeway, Major Figgas, Bunji, Beanie Siegal and others. Journalist brings back the feeling of Rakim, Nas, Jay Z and Kool G. "Im like a Big L. with a brush of Big!" Journ says.

When you listen to journalist flow it gives you just that. It gives a breath of fresh air to a one sided game. It gives you the street intellect of a Nas when he came with Illmatic. With so many rappers looking to follow suit in the next big trend, Journalist is giving you real dialouge. He is keeping the real essence of Hip Hop that we search for alive; coming with hard melodic tracks laced with witty flows and gritty pretty punchlines he`ll keep you in.

"I would consider the tracks I choose and my sound of music something like Gutter Soul, because of so much soulful music my mom had me come up on." Journalist is giving his story as every other rapper claims to do. But one for sure and two for certain coming out of the streets of South Philly Jouirnalist definitely is not a bargain; and looks to be the one to bring the East all the way back.......HardRout!!!!
