UFOs As Real As Easter Bunny Or Tooth Fairy

UFOs As Real As Easter Bunny Or Tooth Fairy

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A cluster of UFO sightings over Britain in 1996 may have had more to do with public fascination with TV shows like the `X Files` than extraterrestrial activity, according to files released by the National Archives on Monday.

Documents from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) indicated there were 609 UFO sightings in 1996, compared with 117 in 1995. This coincided with the rise in popularity of the X Files and the release of the alien blockbuster film `Independence Day.`" Reuters

There is no Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Santa Claus or Little Green Man from Mars bringing a message of galactic brotherhood.

I believe there are other intelligent beings in the universe, but all the extraterrestrials that have reportedly been sighted came not for a galaxy far away, but from the gullible minds of UFO devotees.

The UFO craze is a pop culture phenomenon, we watch a movie about flying saucers and the next night we mistake a Chinese lantern for a UFO.

UFOs are not real, you will never be able to tour the inside of one of these fantastic crafts. They are only real in movies and in our imaginations.

We should have fun with the concept of UFOs; I love watching a movie about invaders from outer space. But get real folks, don`t make a religion or science about something that exists only in the minds of screenwriters and mental patients.
