The Nightingale Song

By Ed Roberts

('DiggThis')

The Nightingale Song

The nightingale knows there are hawks, owls, and eagles

In the sky

The nightingale knows there are cats, wolves, and dogs

On the ground

The nightingale knows about snakes, giant spiders, and even

Man

Yes, the nightingale knows of all of these things

He knows they exist

And are always waiting

For him

Still

The nightingale

Sings

Ed Roberts
