Alternative Energy, HOT AIR! = Politicians
(Transcription of audio podcast)All I know is what I read on the internet! And lately I have been reading a lot about alternative energy. So, I put on my thinking cap-- My Solar thinking cap, because here in AZ we have sun, so I am fully charged and ready to tackle this issue.
When I was a kid, I had a solar radio that got a few AM stations... it was effective in getting the weather report which, if it was good… the next day I would have enough power to listen to the baseball game. I also had a solar flashlight, which seemed odd because you needed light to charge the light.
Luckily, things have changed … you almost don't need sun to power solar panels nowadays. I now have a solar powered scale that comes on and flashes when you turn on the bathroom light. Which is NOT a good way to wake up or go to bed. Anyhow, all this talk about alternative energy got me to think and I came up with a NEW form of energy.
HOT AIR. We float balloons, dry clothes with it. Keeps us warm, could even start a fire if it gets hot enough. I know you folk are saying to yourselves... Will, where are we going to get this natural hot air? Well, folks, the biggest bunch of hot air comes from Washington DC and our politicians. They have enough hot air to keep a third world country warm at night. Enough wind that if we put sails on our warships at sea, we could breeze right into ports and never be heard. And all we need to feed these politicians in Washington is the hopes of re-election. We might get enough power saved up to keep those politicians around awhile... alarm clock. Oh well, good bye.

Welcome to the Will Rogers Tribute Show & Public Speaking Tour. All I know is what I read on the Internet! Last year alone, the "Good 'Will' Tour" traveled to over 175 events around the US and abroad. The Will Roberts Tour is quite unique in that it melds the quick wit and trick roping finesse of Will Rogers with the rapidly changing news of today.
Will Roberts' show is in the style of Will Rogers during his Vaudville Days. As you may or may not know, Will Rogers was a humorist, trick roper, actor, and political humorist, who had myriad famous sayings, which included, "All I know is what I little I read in the newspapers." Will Roberts' show picks up on this theme, which enables him to customize his show to the region/customer, making each show unique and quite personal. He writes for numerous news organizations across the country, which is explained further on his website. His show is wholly dependent upon the needs of the customer, but usually runs 45 minutes. It is a mixture of trick roping, political humor, and current events.
Again, like Will Rogers, he interacts with the audience in both his trick rope demonstrations and humorous delivery of current affairs. For the purpose of his performance, press releases and local newspapers would serve extremely beneficial, as these are a means to support his Will Rogers-esque show. Knowing more about the attendees of the event will help him to get an idea of the flavor of the engagement, so he can gauge his performance, level of interaction, and humor accordingly.
An agenda outlining when he will do meet/greet, strolling and his show, would be wonderful. This will help him prepare his performance - even a rough outline with times and events would be helpful.
Call now to book this act!
With over 25 year of theatrical experience you wont soon forget this show or Will's magic that he brings to your event.
