Sarah Palin To Appear On Saturday Night Live
"Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is set to appear on this week`s broadcast of `Saturday Night Live,` the entertainment show that has featured a popular parody of the Alaska governor by former cast member Tina Fey.
Palin will appear Saturday on the show hosted by actor Josh Brolin, who plays President Bush in director Oliver Stone`s new movie, `W.`"

Sarah Palin (the real one) is set to appear on SNL this Saturday. Some of her supporters are praying she won`t humiliate herself, but I have no doubt that the former TV sports reporter will do a fine job reading cue cards.
Palin is a pro at reading from a teleprompter and reciting sound bites and talking points written and vetted by her handlers. On occasion Palin takes a break from trashing Obama and waxes eloquent on the economy and the Iraq war. But when Palin is off script she comes across liked an airhead. I could memorize a speech on the metaphysical implications of quantum physics and dazzle an audience with my expertise on the arcane subject. But if I`m interviewed by a physics professor on the subject, I would come across like an idiot.
I can accept the idea of Palin making an appearance on SNL, she won`t hurt anyone and SNL`s ratings are sure to go through the roof. But I will never accept the notion of Palin serving as vice-president, that would be a disaster for America.
Tina Fey is already weary of playing Sarah Palin, for the sake of Fey`s sanity and for the good of this country let`s hope the McCain/Palin ticket goes down in resounding defeat.
