Is The World Ready For A Nude Painting Of Blago?
"A nude portrait of the governor, by artist Bruce Elliott, is nearly complete and will hang on the wall of Elliott`s wife`s bar, the Old Town Ale House, next to his infamous depiction of a naked Sarah Palin. It is the next installment in what Elliott loosely calls his `nude governor series.`
Elliott cites many sources of inspiration for the painting, which shows the governor, who was arrested last week on corruption charges, preparing for a potential first day of incarceration. Among them: the extent of the governor`s alleged misdeeds and the artist`s desire to respond to criticism from Republicans and women about the Palin portrait by painting a Democrat in the buff."

With his moppish hair and boyish appearance Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich looks and acts like Dennis the Menace on crack. He perpetually looks like he`s been caught with his hand in the public till, but the twinkle in his eyes says, "I aint bleeping worried."
I want to know what makes this character tick; I want him stripped bare, but a nude painting of Blago isn`t exactly what I had in mind.
If Blago wants to prepare for life behind bars he needs to chop off his hair and practice taking a shower without dropping the bar of soap.
I commend Elliot for his naked depiction of the gorgeous Sarah Palin, but do we really need to see Blago in the nude? I`m already traumatized by Blago`s hair, if I see a rendering of him in the nude I might need a room with padded walls.
I pray that Elliot doesn`t plan on painting all 50 governors, there are no governors other than Palin whom the world wants to see immortalized in the buff. What about a nude celebrity series? It wouldn`t take much to convince Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears to take off their clothes and pose for him.
