Finalists for Comic Story Contest--Voting is Now Open!

By SOP newswire2

3 Boys Productions the publishers of the horror adventure series Students of the Unusual expressed thanks to everyone who participated in their Comic Story Contest. As you may know entrants were encouraged to write, pencil, and ink a 4-5 page story based in the Students of the Unusual universe or as they like to call it --"the Unus-iverse"!

Publisher Terry Cronin expressed dismay at not being able to include everyone in this latest contest.  "I wish we could`ve selected everyone because the amount of effort everyone put forth was absolutely inspiring!" gushed Cronin. "It really is exciting to discover new artistic talent who are so motivated about sequential art and good story-telling!"

Three Boys productions have selected the top three entries for on-line voting.

They include Sterling Schroeder & Krystal Diaz` "Mixed Finks"

Stephan Segantini`s "A Fortean Pulp Tale" or "A Surrealistic Fortean Tale"

& Steven Shea & Luandra Whitehurst`s "The Vandyls Meet The Florida Skunk Ape"

Everyone is encouraged to vote and voting is simple --just make sure you have a Myspace account and leave a comment on the Students of the Unusual`s Myspace page voting for your favorite. Read the entire story and enjoy the art of each entry by going to their on-line photo album named Comic Story Contest!

Voting ends November 14th and the winner will be published in their next issue and will win $500!

Cronin recommends that "Words of encouragement for the artists are especially appreciated!"
