Sam & Dean Winchester, We Salute You – From TVGuide.com
On the CW’s Supernatural, brothers Sam and Dean wages a war against the forces of evil – and not get any recognition. But in real life, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles received some from the Army.
In Chicago, Army Master Sgt. Kevin Wise honored the actors congratulatory letters and Special Forces coins for their work in the hit series, which is the most popular DVD request from the military. According to a letter read by Sgt. Wise, Supernatural helps soldiers forget about war and focus on the importance of family and home.
The war continues, as Sam and Dean sets out to save the world, on Supernatural, Thursday nights at 9pm on the CW Network.
