Catholic Marriage Weekend a special 'Get-away'

Catholic Marriage Weekend a special 'Get-away'

By SOP newswire

Catholic Familyland's "Get-away" Marriage Weekend, on April 18-20, 2008, gives couples a chance to spend some quality time together.

"Every couple needs some time away from the world to renew their love and their strength," says Theresa Schmitz of Catholic Familyland. "At Catholic Familyland, you can share many precious moments together - an opportunity you won't want to miss."

The "Get-away" Weekend is designed specifically so that couples can grow closer to each other and to Our Lord. The Weekend will feature daily mass, inspiring talks by Fr. Kevin Barrett, Dr. Greg Popcak, Christine Wittman, and Jerry Coniker.

Also scheduled is time set apart for couples to focus on one another and their marriage, all in a place set apart in the beautiful countryside. "It will be a weekend of no distractions - a weekend designed for you and your spouse to be truly renewed," says Schmitz.

The all-inclusive rate for the weekend includes lodging at Catholic Familyland, all meals, snacks and beverages for two for the entire weekend.

Couples can register by March 14, 2008, to receive the special discounted rate $354, and can visit http://www.familyland.org or call 1-800-77-FAMILY for more information. Early registration is recommended.
