Celtics' GM Might Be Discharged by Sunday

By Christopher HIllenbrand

Danny Ainge, general manager for the Boston Celtics, was hospitalized early Thursday morning for a mild heart attack after he was absent from the Celtics` last regular-season game Wednesday night. He reported that he wasn`t feeling well that night. By the next morning, his condition got worse and he was subsequently admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Jeff Twiss, Celtics` spokesman, said that Ainge is making a full recovery and might be discharged from the hospital as early as Sunday.

The Celtics face the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the NBA Finals. Game 1 of the series starts Saturday night.
