Everybody Loves Google's Pac-Man Doodle

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Google on Monday made permanent a playable Pac-Man doodle posted in tribute to the classic arcade game`s 30th birthday.

pacman`We`ve been overwhelmed, but not surprised, by the success of our 30th anniversary Pac-Man doodle,` Google vice president of search products and user experience Marissa Mayer said in a blog post.

`Due to popular demand, werre making the game permanently available.`

The Pac-Man game, which spent the weekend incorporated into a logo atop the Google online search homepage, was given a new venue at www.google.com/pacman."

We love Google`s doodles, but their Pac-man doodle posted in tribute to the arcade game`s 30th birthday instantly become the most popular doodle in Google`s history.

Anybody who doesn`t like the Google doodle probably has "666" tattooed in his rear end. What made the Pac-man doodle unique is that it was playable.

It`s great to know that when I need a break from writing my essays, I can always go to google.com/pacman and play a couple of games of Pac-Man.

What the heck, I`m going to cut this article short, and go play Pac-Man right now.
