Are the Predictions by the Web Bot Project For Real?

Are the Predictions by the Web Bot Project For Real?

One of the most intriguing pieces of scientific terminology, or should I say technology is the Web Bot Project. If this is really something that if is true, it makes you really wonder. The Web Bot Project when you think about it makes you experience at least three human emotions at one time which are fear, excitement, and last, but not least a rush of adrenaline. It`s almost like looking into the fear of the unknown and at the same time you ask yourself, is this really true? And do I really have something to be concerned about? That`s the question that keeps you pushing to study more about this phenomenon and makes you want to know each and every little detail there is to know.

The first element we really have to know about to have a grasp of understanding about the Web Bot Project is the definition. The definition is, Web Bot, or the Web Bot Project, refers to an Internet bot software program that is claimed to be able to predict future events by tracking keyword entered on the Internet. It was created in 1997, originally to predict stock market trends (www.google.com, 2010 Define: Web Bot)

So far, reading a little bit about what Web Bot is reminds me of the movie `War Games` with Matthew Broderick back in 1983. Since the type of Internet Bot software that is used for the Web Bot Project is basically a computer in itself, it is almost like the same computer in the War Games movie that took on a mind of its own and did out of the ordinary things that it was not programmed to do in the first place. If you have never seen the movie, it was a computer that was programmed to play war games, but suddenly took the games as if the game itself was a real crisis and almost started World War III.

The same is almost true about the Web Bot project. The original reason for this was to try to predict the stock market, or at least the trends of the stock market, but the software went off on its own (sort of) and started predicting the future, or some type of future that is supposed to become a reality.

The idea and concept behind the Web Bot Project which was developed in 1997, is to track keywords entered on the Internet and use a technology called Spiders, which crawls the web onvarious search engines to search for those keywords that were entered. Once the technology finds a certain keyword it makes a record of the text before and after the keyword, then the record is sent to another program which once again filters and defines the meaning.

Basically the main goal of the software is to gain as much information from what people enter in keywords on the Internet and explore, search, and try to tap into those thoughts. In 2001, is when the Bot operators began to see more and more trends of predictions happening in other areas than finance which was what the Bot Project was originally invented for.

The new trends or tipping points started to point to more and more future events that were supposed to become a reality. These new trends started to become coincidences which sparked further investigations into them.

Again in 2001, the Web Bot Project picked up a huge unfortunate prediction. The predication that was analyzed by the project said that there would be a major life-changing event going to take place very soon.

As everyone in this country knows, the major event that took place in 2001 was 9/11 when our country was attacked by terrorist on our own soil and the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was hit by commercial airliners.

This predication which is now a reality is something that makes me wonder about the Web Bot Project, but since I am sometimes very skeptical about things, especially something as different as this, I will need more proof that the Web Bot can predict future events.

Lately, we have probably all heard that the worst is yet to come and Web Bot has also predicted this to happen as-well. In 2012, Web Bot predicts that there will be a major catastrophe that is supposed to take place. It does not go into detail about what is supposed to happen in 2012, but again I will have to see much more evidence to start believing Web Bot may be accurate.

And this may just be the evidence that changes my mind about Web Bot. Below are the predictions by the project. The predictions started about 2008. And this is just information taken from my research I did on the Web Bot Project.

Predictions By Web Bot:

-In late March of 2008, Massive unemployment will take place (Mc Clung, D. 2010)

-In the summer of 2008 " A major backlash against our Government could force a call to hold the elections early (Mc Clung, D. 2010)

-Basically the economy could force more foreclosures on homes (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

-In October of 2008 there could be a, or will be a major stock market crash or a major event that will have a bad effect on the economy (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

-In 2008, there could be major bank failures. These failures could force a foreign bailout (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

- In December of 2008. There could be possible earthquakes and tsunamis (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

-Governments around the world are focusing on diverting the media attention away from the real-life problems and converting those problems into trivial aspect such as politics and pop culture (McClung, D. 2010).

- In 2009, Well-Known people will start disappearing without explanation (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

- In 2009, Earthquakes may damage dams and/or much unprecedented flooding may occur (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

- In 2009, anyone who lives in rural areas will begin to arm themselves and begin stocking-up on many weapons and lots of ammunition (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

-In the summer or spring of 2009, a global coastal event or process (possibly a tidal change) will involve a rise in sea levels that will knock out oil refineries and severely hamper sea ports (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

-In 2009/10/25, a big crises is kicked off, it could be that Israel bombs Iran, or that the swine flu goes into a level of extreme lethal level, 10 days later; in relation to this crisis, the Obama Administration will be thrown into chaos. When Israel bombs Iran, they will use a nuclear tipped bunker buster that will hit something unforeseen underground. As a result, a radioactive cloud will form that will pollute and sicken Southeast Asia. This will cause much of the world to turn against Israel. (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

- In 2011/05, the magnetosphere problems could lead to ultraviolet scorching of crops. Grain crops will fail mainly in the Northern Hemisphere which will lead to food riots in the summer and spring. Specifically, there will be riots in Rome that will spill over into the Vatican (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

-In 2012, there will be an ultimate demise for millions. The cause will be brought on by some combination of pandemics, economic collapse, and breakdown of healthcare and unknown energies from space (Mc Clung, D. 2010).

These again are the predictions from the research I conducted. When I was conducting the research, I was constantly thinking if this information was really creditable. The predictions that already happened in 2008 were true and did really happen, or at least some of them did happen.  And if that information was predicted before 2008 by Web Bot and not just made-up by whatever source after 2008 and posted on the Internet, then the future predictions will have a 50/50 chance of becoming reality. This makes you really think twice.

Another element that really goes hand in hand with the concept and the predictions of the Web Bot Project is the Mayan Calendar. The Mayan`s were an ancient Indian tribe from Mexico. They are known for the extraordinary abilities to build pyramids.

They are known for the great El Castilo Chichen Itza pyramid in Yucatan, Mexico among others and of course they are well-known for the Mayan Calendar. The calendar is extremely accurate on the Mayans predictions. The calendar consisted of a 365-day agricultural calendar and a 260-day sacred calendar. To get a little better understanding of what the Mayan Calendar consists of we can explore a very brief detail of it.

The calendar was first adopted by other Mesoamerican nations like the Aztecs and the Toltec. The calendar uses three different dating systems which are arranged in a parallel fashion. They are the long count, the Tzolkin (divine calendar), and the Haab (civil calendar).

The typical format of the date arrangements on the Mayan Calendar is set in 12, 18, 16, 2, 6 and 4 Zotz. The 12, 18, 16, 2, and 6 on the calendar is the long count. The 3 cimi is the Tzolkin date and the 4 Zotz is the Haab date.

What is the Long Count on the Mayan Calendar? The long count is a mixed-base of numbers that represents the number of days since the existence of or start of the Mayan era. It is just about the same as the Julian Day number. The units are the kin or days which make-up the components of the long count. All the terminology is in Mayan. An example is the components are names like uinal, tun, katan, and baktun. The uinal are the numbers from 0 to 17 and the baktun are numbers from 1 to 13.

The long count start at the point of 0.0.0.0.0.and since the baktun are the numbers on the calendar from 1 to 13 instead of the normal calendar that has 12-months that should be numbered 1 to 12, the Mayan Calendar actually has the first date as 13.0.0.0.0.

The Tzolkin on the calendar are the dates in a combination of two-week periods. Our normal calendar uses a single week as seven days, but the Mayan Calendar uses two different lengths for a week. The first being a numbered week consisting of 13 days. The days on this week are numbered from 1 to 13.

     The second week on the Mayan Calendar is a week of twenty names. The twenty names are 0-Ahau, 1-Imix, 2-Ik, 3-Akbal, 4-Kan, 5-Chicchan, 6-Cimi, 7-Manik, 8-Lamat, 9-Muluc, 10-Oc, 11-Chuen, 12-Eb, 13-Ben, 14-Ix, 15-Men, 16-Cib, 17-Caban, 18-Etznab, 19-Caunac. The Tzolkin started at the 13.0.0.0.0 point of the Mayan Calendar which corresponds to 4 Ahau.

The Haab was the civil calendar of the Mayans. This calendar consisted of 18 months of 20 days in each month followed by 5 extra days known as Uayeb. If you do the math on this, the formula would look like, 18 x 20+5= 365 days total. The names of the Haab months are 1-Pop, 2-Uo, 3-Zip, 4-Zotz, 5-Tzec, 6-Xul, 7-Yaxin, 8-Mol, 9-Chen, 10-Yax, 11-Zac, 12-Ceh, 13-Mac, 14-Kankin, 15-Muan, 16-Pax, 17-Kayab, and 18-Cumku.

The days of the month on the Haab calendar are numbered 0 to 19. It is believed that the ancient Mayans were the ones that discovered the number zero and were the ones that came up with the multiple uses of the number before any of the other countries in Europe and Asia discovered the number and uses.

Any days that are from the Uayeb part of the Mayan calendar are considered bad luck days. These are the days that are known as the days without names, or days without souls, (Mayan Calendar, 2010) These were the days that the Mayans observed as the days set aside for prayer and mourning. Religious rituals such as not eating hot food and extinguishing any fires were practiced during the days without names. Also, it was believed that anyone that was born on these days was going to be doomed to have a bad and miserable life. As a note, the days on the Mayan Haab Calendar are not counted.

The Tzolkin year on the Mayan Calendar was 260 days and the Haab year is 365 days. If you look at the math, the smallest number that can be divided evenly by both 260 and 365 is 18,980 which are 365 days multiplied by 52. This formula for the Mayan Calendar is known as the Calendar Round.

An example of this is if a day is 4 Ahau 8 Cumku, Then the next day`s falling on 4 Ahau 8 Cumku would be 18,980 days or around 52 years later. To the Mayans, the end of the Calendar Round was a signal of the end of time or the end of the world. (Mayan Calendar, 2010).

So, what does the Mayan Calendar have to do with the Web Bot project? Plenty. On the Long Count of the Mayan Calendar, the total number of years equals a 5,125 year cycle. On December 21, 2012 this cycle ends thus the Mayan Calendar ends. There is no more time left after the 5,125 year cycle on the calendar ends in 2012.

With the end of the Mayan Calendar in 2012 and the prediction made by Web Bot, it`s almost like everything points to a good chance that something could occur in 2012, or that there may be some truth to this. It is a coincidence that the Mayan Calendar is ending in 2012 and the Web Bot Project has made dire predictions for something bad to happen at the same time the calendar ends.

Scientist have also said that around this time various astronomical alignments and numerological formulae related to the year 2012 have been proposed to happen, but these predictions have not yet been justified by higher scholars.

Some of the predictions for the supposedly major catastrophe include the earth could collide with one of the many passing planets. This is known as Nibiru or as Black Hole, or our time now as we know it could come to an end and the start of a new era could emerge in 2012. Whatever may happen if anything does happen is kind of out there to me.

As people continue to believe there could be something that does happen in the year 2012, others like some scholars, Mayan Scholars, and NASA have said that any and all of these predictions do not hold any basis for saying this is real and will become a part of reality in the year 2012. NASA also states that the catastrophe that is believed by some that is supposedly going to happen in 2012 holds the same substance as what the Y2K Bug held in the year 2000.

The question now becomes, what do you believe? Should we all head to our local Wal-Mart and spend our next two-month`s of pay on buying supplies, food, clothing and whatever you need to be able to survive and to stock our basements just in case this is real? Or, do we wait closer until the year 2012 and drain our bank accounts of our hard earned savings and go out and party the money away just in case this may happen? Who knows, I guess we will see what the truth is in the next two and a half years from now. Will this become a reality? Or, is it just paranoia?
