By Garrett Godwin

Good day, everyone!

I`m Garrett Godwin, and I`m here to tell What`s On Tonight!

Tonight is another night of season premieres for USA Network:

First at 9pm is the seventh-season opener of Monk, in which our favorite defective detective finally starts to conquer one of his fears: moving into a house.  Brad Garrett guest stars.  However, Monk may also have to conquer another fear when he gets a new shrink.  Hector Elizondo joins the series as Monk`s new psychiarist.  Stanley Kamel, who has portrayed Dr. Kroger, recently died of a heart attack this spring.

Then at 10pm is the return of Psych in its third season, in which our favorite fake psychic-real detective Shawn (James Roday) has a lot on his plate.  He must solve a case, keep his partner and friend Gus (Dule Hill) from leaving their detective agency, and play mediator between father Henry (Corbin Bernsen) and his recently returned mother, played by Cybill Shepherd.  In the meantime, catch Shawn and Gus working the Psych 9-5 marathon today on USA.

Also at 10pm on the SCIFI Channel is an all-new Stargate Atlantis, as Richard Woolsey (Robert Picardo) becomes the new leader of Atlantis.  However, he may have to shape up, when an parasite infects Dr. Keller (Jewel Staite), and spreads all over the city -- and the entire team.

Remember that Monk`s sixth season, Psych`s second season, and Atlantis` fourth season is now available on DVD.

And that`s What`s On Tonight!, so thanks for joining me.  But don`t forget to check out the latest right here at the SOP -- featuring The American Perspective with Judyth Piazza and Hot Copy with Del Marbrook.

I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to Go Now once again, so I`ll see you later.
