By Garrett Godwin

Good afternoon, everyone!

This is Garrett Godwin, and I`m here to tell you what`s On Tonight!

On TNT tonight at 9pm is the summer finale of The Closer.  Tonight`s episode finds Brenda and the newly christened Major Crimes Davison (MCD) trying to save the City of Angels from a "Time Bomb".  However, someone from Brenda`s team may not survive.  The other bad news is that there`ll be no new episodes of The Closer until next January.

However, there may be good news.  Creator and executive producer James Duff are among several people that are in the process of developing a spin-off of cable`s #1 series, which is called The Fixer to industry circles.  The spin-off, unnamed at the moment, is being co-written by Duff and Closer co-executive producers Adam Belanoff and Michael Berchem that could center on one of the show`s main characters or a new one.

TNT confirmed ordering the script for it, but hasn`t made any more statements on other details.

And that is What`s On Tonight! so thanks for joining me.  But don`t forget to check out Judyth Piazza on The American Perspective, along Hot Copy with Del Marbrook -- right here on the SOP.

I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to Go Now once again, so I`ll see you later.
