This is Garrett Godwin, and I`m here to tell you What`s On Tonight!
At 8pm on NBC tonight is the upgrading rebirth of an urban legend -- the return of a shadowy flight into a dangerous world of a man who does not exist, and a car not like any other. Last spring, fans were revved up for Knight Rider 2008, and now it`s back as a weekly series -- starting tonight.
The new series stars former All My Children heartthrob Justin Bruening as former Army Ranger Mike Tracer, son of the legendary Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff). Mike is the new "young loner on a crusade", and the new KITT (voice of Val Kilmer) is a black, sleek Ford Shelby GT 500 KR Mustang, and together they champion the innocent, the helpless, and the powerless in a world of criminals that operate above the law -- continung to live by the motto that "one man can make a difference".
If you love the original, then you`ll love this even better -- because this is definitely Knight Rider for the 21st century. For more, go to www.nbc.com/KnightRider.
Then, on CBS, tonight are the season premieres of Criminal Minds at 9pm, followed by CSI: NY at 10pm Eastern Time.
The CW channel features new episodes of Smallville at 8pm, and Supernatural at 9pm. ET.
And that is What`s On Tonight!, so thanks for joining me. But don`t forget to check out Judyth Piazza with The American Perspective -- along with Hot Copy with Del Marbrook.
I`m Garrett Godwin, and I have to Go Now once again, so I`ll see you later.
