Survey: More Ladies Than Dudes Sleep With Their Pets

Most men and women have similar attitudes about their pets, except women are much more likely to sleep with their dog or cat, a U.S. survey indicates.

A survey by Consumer Reports subscribers who owned a cat or dog, or both, found 70 percent of U.S. women slept with their pet compared with 57 percent of men. "



My cat, Ebony, rarely deigns to sleep on my bed, she may cuddle with me for a few minutes, but then she returns to one of her favorite spots: On top of the warm TV, or next to a heating vent in the winter. My finicky feline is like a typical prostitute who wants to leave your bed as soon as possible to go hustle more money.

My pooch, Mandy, knows my bed is off limits to her. Mandy is too big and her paws are always too muddy for my bed.

It`s funny how women, even those who are always getting on us dudes about washing our hands and using Purell, have no qualms about letting flea-ridden cats and dogs sleep with them.
