British Hacker Claims to Find UFO Pictures in NASA Computers

By John Pustelnik

A man in London hacked into NASA computers and claimed to have found pictures of UFO`s.

The story dates back to 2001.

Gary McKinnon thought that the American government was hiding information about UFO`s and free-energy technology scavenged from them. From February of 2001 until March of 2002, he hacked various NASA computers. It became an obsession for him. He wanted to know the truth.

He was not careful when it came to covering his tracks. He wanted to get caught on purpose, so that he could finally get himself to stop hacking.

He eventually did get caught, and the United States wanted to extradite him and put him in prison.

He was later diagnosed with autism, which would explain his obsessive behavior.

In October of 2012, the United States stopped trying to extradite McKinnon.

McKinnon was using a 56K modem at the time of the hacking. He was not able to download or view any of the high-resolution satellite imagery that he claimed to find.

By compressing the images to show only four colors, and by lowering the resolution of the photos, he was able to view what he claimed to be a UFO.

"It was a silvery, cigar-shaped object with geodesic spheres on either side. There were no visible seams or riveting," said McKinnon. "There was no reference to the size of the object and the picture was taken presumably by a satellite looking down on it. The object didn`t look man-made or anything like what we have created."

In what would appear to be a scene straight from a Hollywood movie, McKinnon`s activities were then detected by NASA, and promptly disconnected him before he was able to save the image.
