Loaded Guns in Our National Parks?

Loaded Guns in Our National Parks?

By SOP newswire2

Hi Judyth Piazza,

Current law allows people to bring unloaded and safely stored guns into our national parks. But now the NRA wants to change these regulations to allow LOADED weapons.

Register your opposition to loaded firearms in our national parks. Please act today; we only have until June 30 >>

I am not against legal and responsible gun ownership. But this new regulation would make poaching of park wildlife easier, change the relationship between rangers and visitors and create new safety hazards.

The current regulations protect families and wildlife while fairly allowing gun owners to transport their unloaded weapons through the parks.

This isn`t good enough for the NRA, who is pressuring the Bush Administration to open the parks to the danger of loaded firearms. Take action >>

The administration has opened a limited comment period on this issue. This is your opportunity to weigh in on park protection - an issue that could change parks forever! Submit your comment today to keep the fair regulations in place >>

Sincerely,
