VI show of Catherine Pittet took place in buea, cameroon at Alliance franco-camerounaise.

The fourth edition (last picture show) of Catherine Pittet took place in Buea from 9 - 11 Nov 2007. In addition, will move to Douala 22 - 29 Dec 2007.

The show is today one of the most important national artistic event. It has gathered the most talented artists of the country and has been devoted to confirm and reveal"talents from creative and innovative Africa for the last three years.

Indeed, it seems that the art from Cameroon has reached a superior level in personality and diversity.

Catherine Pittet, the event promoter seems to have definitely concretized her idea today. The cultural project provides to talents the opportunity to upraise/upgrade, to develop and to prosper.

Pittet, a Cameroonian, was born in Cameroon and studied at studio Bercot in Paris. "She is happily married and bless with three kids." In 1989, she opened her first shop "La Petite Boutique" in Bonapriso, Doaula Cameroon where one could find various products of artisans among other things.

She created the Gondwana, many years later. An art space dedicated to Cameroonian artists whom she has always been working with since the beginning of her enterprise. The Gondwana is an annual African art exhibition. This year 2007, she launches her fourth edition of the last picture show."Her dream is for the Gondwana label to represent and promote exchanges and conviviality.
