Mark Ranalli is a proven entrepreneur adept at creating and growing leading Internet companies. Mark launched BaseSix, a marketing strategy firm that served clients such as AT&T Broadband, AOL, Comcast, HBO, StarzEncore and Cox Cable. BaseSix grew to more than $12 million in annual revenue and a staff of seventy before he sold the company to focus his efforts on Helium.
Prior to BaseSix, Mark was President of UNIFI Communications, an IP-based messaging company. Overseeing sales, marketing, product strategy and development, Mark was instrumental in growing the firm to more than 700 employees and $50 million in revenue in its first four years. Mark later served on the board of UNIFI Communications and its Japanese joint partnership with Nichimin Corporation.
Mark holds an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Mark is married with two children and resides a few blocks walk from our offices in Andover, Massachusetts.
