TSA 'agents' force Woman to Remove Nipple Rings with Pliers

By Robert Paul Reyes

We've all witnessed TSA agents frisk Girl Scouts and force grannies to remove their orthopedic shoes, but this story from the AP takes the cake:

by Greg Risling, AP Writer

"A Texas woman who said she was forced to remove a nipple ring with pliers in order to board an airplane called Thursday for an apology by federal security agents and a civil rights investigation.

'I wouldn't wish this experience upon anyone,' Mandi Hamlin said at a news conference. 'My experience with TSA was a nightmare I had to endure. No one deserves to be treated this way.'" []

The first question that comes to mind is why are TSA employees called agents? They are nothing more than glorified "rent-a-cops," referring to them as "agents" tends to put them in the same league as the FBI.

Why couldn't the woman board the plane without removing her nipple rings? Did the Barney Fife wannabes imagine that she was a terrorist with explosive breast implants, and if she pulled on her nipple ring it would detonate the bomb?

Silly me, but I've never thought of nipples as dangerous weapons: "Ma'am do you have pistols attached to your breasts, or are you just happy to see me?"

Gloria Allred, Ms. Hamlin's attorney, stated that she might seek legal action if the TSA does not apologize. Some lawyers specialize in civil rights cases, others are interested only in defending victims of hate crimes; Allred specializes in cases that will generate publicity.

The TSA clowns who mistreated Hamlin should apologize, and be forced to pierce their private parts and compelled to try to get by airport security.
