Kid Survives Being Compacted In A Garbage Truck

Kid Survives Being Compacted In A Garbage Truck

By Robert Paul Reyes

We often go into histrionics when we have a "bad hair day". We`re issued a ticket, or the TV finally gives up the ghost, and we are ready to blow a gasket. We tend to take things way too seriously, we should save the drama for real tragedies like a death in the family.

Are you feeling miserable because the new temp worker spurned your pass, and someone flipped you off on the freeway? Don`t have a cow, here`s a tale of a lad who really had a bad day:

"Police in Milwaukee say a teenage boy has survived after being accidentally dumped into the back of a recycling truck and compacted.

Police say the 14-year-old ran away from a boot camp-style school for teens Monday and hid in a recycling bin filled with cardboard.

The bin was picked up by a Waste Management truck and dumped into the vehicle`s rear compactor."

Now that`s having a bad hair day! According to the AP article the boy didn`t suffer life-threatening injuries. If you suffer a calamity like this hapless kid then you have every right to wail like a Drama Queen, but if your trials fall short of being compacted: Shill Out!
