Grad Sues Alma Mater Because She Hasn't Found A Job

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Trina Thompson, a 27-year-old graduate of Monroe College in the Bronx, N.Y., is suing her alma mater for $70,000 in tuition money. Since her graduation with an information technology degree in April, Thompson has not been able to find work. And Thompson says the school hasn`t helped in the job-searching process, either."

A bachelor`s degree and five bucks will get you a Big Mac and large fries at McDonald`s, but it won`t even guarantee you a job flipping burgers.

Trina`s law suit is baseless and without merit, with her litigious nature she should have gone to law school.

For the record Monroe College states that they help all their graduates find a job. But in these hard economic times Monroe should realize that a college degree doesn`t guarantee anyone a job. A couple of my friends are unemployed college graduates, and they would gladly accept any job to make ends meet.

It`s going to be difficult for Trina to find any job, why would an employer hire somebody who sues at the drop of a hat?
