Lady Has Lost Will To Live: Parrot Stolen

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Florida woman is pleading for the return of her stolen "son," a 30-year-old Macaw parrot she has owned since it was less than a year old.

parrotCharlene Bradley said Jack, a blue and yellow bird worth thousands of dollars, was stolen from her Hialeah home at about 1 p.m. Wednesday by a thief who threw a towel over the bird to keep it from resisting and fled with her beloved pet in a truck, WSVN-TV, Miami-Fort Laudersale, Fla., reported Friday."

If Charlene had given her parrot a "bird" name like "Mr. Cheeks", instead of a human name like "Jack" she wouldn`t have become so attached to it to the point where she calls the bird her son.

My guess is that this woman doesn`t have a boyfriend or a husband, any bird-brain who considers a parrot her son, doesn`t have any room left in her heart for a romantic relationship.

"My son is gone. He has to come home for my heath and sanity, " Bradley cried. Gee, I hope the dude who stole her bird will bring it back to her.

The woman`s sanity is at risk, not to mention that the parrot probably misses the obsessive attention he`s been getting for the last 30 years.
