By Garrett Godwin

Step through the gate again with the fourth season of Stargate SG-1, available on DVD.

Season four starts with SG-1 fighting the unstoppable Replicators in the conclusion of last season`s cliffhanger, "Small Victories".

The fourth season has episode highlights such as "Upgrades", in which SG-1 are the test subjects of alien technology that gives superhuman abilities.  Other highlights include:

"Window of Opportunity", when O`Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and Teal`c (Christopher Judge) are caught in a time loop, and it is a must-see for O`Neill and Carter (Amanda Tapping) fans.

"Point of No Return" marks the debut of reoccurring character Martin Lloyd (Willie Garson), a strange little man who somehow has information on the Stargate program because he believes that he`s an alien.

"The Curse" is a Daniel-centric episode, in which Dr. Jackson (Michael Shanks) attends the funeral of his former professor, and has a sweet reunion with his former love Sarah, and a bitter reunion with his former rival Steven.

"Chain Reaction" follows O`Neill trying to reinstate Hammond (Don S. Davis) as head of the SGC when the general suddenly announces his retirement.

"2010" takes place nine years into the future as the SG-1 team try to change history once again for the better.

In "Prodigy", Carter tries to help a brilliant yet troubled Air Force cadet.

"Entity" is another Carter-centric episode, in which she is taken over by an alien probe that has taken over Stargate Command, forcing the team whether or not to sacrifice one of their own.

Available on DVD, season four features 22 episodes with audio commentaries of episodes, interviews with cast and crew, and much more.
