Jericho Didn't Survive The Ratings War Once Again

Though Jake Green and others are on a mission to save both their town and the entire world, we won't have a chance to see what happens next, as CBS cancels Jericho twice after its short second-season.

The series was originally cancelled in May due to a decrease in ratings, but fans rallied together and showed how much they're "Nuts" for the show through sending CBS dozens of peanuts.  This led the network to renew Jericho as a mid-season replacement.  However, despite a passionate fan following, it wasn't enough for Jericho to get another reprieve.

The final episode, which airs on March 25, had one ending with a cliff-hanger if there was going a third season, and one that would have resolution.

The now-series finale of Jericho will air Tuesday, March 25 at 10pm on CBS, but don't forget to catch up on how the story began every Friday from 8pm to midnight on the SCIFI Channel.

Law & Order: CI resumes its war on crime

The worst criminal offenders will be pursued once more by NYPD's Major Case Squad, as USA Network will air new episodes Law & Order: Criminal Intent in this summer.

Since its debut last September, CI became the #1 series on cable every Thursday night at 10pm.  The show has been on air since 2001 on NBC, and was picked up by USA to air first-run episodes, which is now being shown on NBC this winter.  Only ten out of 22 episodes was shot and shown due to the writers' strike.  However, now that the strike is over, the last dozen episodes are in production.

New episodes of Criminal Intent will be shown this summer on USA Network, but still catch the show every Wednesday night at 9pm on NBC.

Well, that is all the time we have here today, so thank you for joining me. But don't forget to check out Del Marbrook’s “Hot Copy” segments and The American Perspective with the lovely, beautiful, and talented Judyth Piazza, here at
